The World of “Stories of Souls”
Michael feels like he’s losing his mind. Plagued with nightmares and daily visions of horrifying entities, he seeks the help of a strange psychologist, Gabriel. With the help of Gabriel and other masters, Michael begins to hone his astral abilities, but when he and the other students find out that they are training to face an enemy with the power to kill anyone in their sleep, everything changes.
Aaron is a spiritual warrior who works alone and in secret, sworn to stay out of the raging spiritual war. Jane, a young woman who seeks to learn spiritual powers to protect herself from dark powers, will change all that. Aaron will be torn between his emotions and his devotion to remaining uninvolved.
Racing against time, Aaron and Michael must join forces to fight the dark enemy that hunts them: the fearsome Cord Cutter and the Iconoclasts, a secretive society with dark and ancient powers. Together, Michael, Aaron, and Gabriel must put a stop to Cord Cutter and convince the world of the Iconoclast’s threat, or the reality we know will change forever.
Stories of Souls (Awakening) is the beginning of a spiritual fantasy sci-fi series with more guides than Avatar – The Last Airbender, more applicable than Harry Potter, and closer to home than Star Wars.
About Omid Farshi
Omid was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He studied engineering and language teaching and worked as a sales representative and English teacher for quite some time. However, since high school, he has been passionate about story writing and screenwriting as a hobby. His spiritual awakening led him to write mystical and spiritual stories to grow personally and inspire others in their awakening.
How the story was born
The base of this story came to me when I was in high school. Since many parts of the story are inspired by my dreams and personal experiences, I got the chance to add more layers to it when I decided to actively work on it in 2020, during the Corona pandemic.
I already had similar mystic and fantasy stories and had shared them with my friends. Their encouragement about these kinds of stories led me to expand the world within Stories of Souls.
Even though friends and family encouraged me to write, I also had experiences of being in communication with 5th-dimensional friends who supported my story as well. At first, I found it odd, but then I realized that my story would bring peace and spiritual awakening. And by “world” here, I mean my inner world first. I am spiritually growing as this story progresses. The world is a representation of what is going on internally—and I literally mean it. I understand it better each day.
The Turning Point
After the pandemic, I forgot about the story for a while as I got busy with life—until I went to the cinema to watch Dune. Its music was so powerful; it transported me into the middle of my own story. It triggered something deep inside me, and I started crying right after the movie ended. I just knew I had to start writing immediately and plan the entire journey. That song gave me the base and the emotional essence of my story, as I often use music for inspiration.
I also remember the excitement of my dear friend and story coach Aria as I explained the core and philosophy of my story. And I’ll never forget the moment I read the first two chapters to Şeyma, and she hugged me and said:
“Trust me when I tell you that this is a good story. I‘m hugging you like this to create a permanent memory in you—to realize that whenever you feel doubt about your story, just remember this moment.”
That moment really shook me.
A Vision for the Future
When I feel alive and connected, I know this story will change the world. I once dreamed that by the time the 7th book of this series is published, the world will be a different place. I hope this series will spark a spiritual awakening and ascension for most of humanity, and we’ll experience life like never before.
Purpose Behind the Pages
The main purpose is to improve myself and do my inner work. Through storytelling and research about spirituality—both inwardly and with the help of books, articles, and videos—I develop, heal, and continue my path. Writing, sharing, and teaching are my paths. So the goal is not to establish authority in any subject, but to find myself along the way.
